We believe in absolute privacy. JapNaam is primarily an offline app. We do not require any user registration, login, or personal profile creation.

• Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or share any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical location.
• User-Generated Content: If you use the "Custom Mantra" feature, the text you type is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to our servers.
• Daily Streak & Counts: All your chanting progress, counts, and streaks are stored locally on your device's storage. If you delete the app, this data will be removed.

3. Third-Party Analytics

To improve the performance and user experience of JapNaam, we use Google Firebase Analytics. This service collects non-identifiable, aggregated information, such as:

• App launches and screen views (e.g., how many times the Home screen was opened).
• Device information (model, operating system version).
• General geographic location (Country/City level only).

This data helps us understand which features are most used and identify any technical bugs. It cannot be used to identify you personally.

4. Permissions

The app may request the following permissions to function correctly:

• Vibration (Haptics): To provide physical feedback during chanting as a replacement for physical beads.
• Internet Access: Only used for Firebase Analytics and to display font styles via Google Fonts.

5. Data Security

Since we do not collect personal data, the risk of data breaches is significantly minimized. Any usage data processed via Google Firebase is protected by industry-standard security measures provided by Google.

JapNaam is a devotional app suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. Our app is compliant with general child protection standards as no sensitive data is involved.
